European Jumping Championships 2016 – National Schedule announced!
The Duggan Family and Millstreet 2016 Organising Team are happy to launch details of the National Programme of classes that will take place during the 2016 FEI European Jumping Championships (YR, J, C) from 25th – 31st July.
With a total prize fund exceeding €7,000, Young Riders will be catered for with competitions ranging from 1.10m – 1.30m while general horse classes from 1.00m to 1.30m level also feature in the schedule. The finals of the Young Rider classes will take place in the Championship Arena on Saturday 30th July with the top four placed athlete/horse combinations also qualifying for the respective finals during Millstreet International Horse Show CSI3* (9th – 14th August). Prizes will also be on offer for the highest placed Junior in each final.
In the horse classes, prizes will be presented to the highest placed 4 year old (1.00m), 5 year old (1.10m) and 6 year old (1.20m) horses while the top 3 horse/rider combinations will also qualify for the respective finals at Millstreet International Horse Show.

We are delighted to afford Young Riders the opportunity to compete at Millstreet during the FEI European Jumping Championships and they will no doubt benefit from the experience. These classes also provide a unique opportunity to Irish breeders and producers to showcase their horses to a guaranteed audience of potential buyers from Europe and further afield.’
